Recent Service:
Valve adjustment (within 2k miles)
F+R brakes, Brembo solids along with Hawk HP+ pads (less than 300 miles)
New battery Oct 2006
New rear strut tops
The bads:
Cat is dead
Sunroof is dead, does not leak
A/C does not blow cold
Roof panel near sunroof motor is gone
No backseat
A rattle when going over bumps, probably busted exhaust hanger
Rust on front of rockers, some on rear fenders (suggest to replace both front fenders, those are almost rotted)
Paint chips on front of hood
Fog lights will not turn on
I bought this car back in mid-2006 to use as a weekend track car. Unfortunately, it never made it to a track or even an autoX (only had the car for a little over 2k miles). I spent a lot of money to get it where it is now but priorities are changing rapidly. The motor is remarkably strong for its age and the tranny shifts plenty well. I probably will get a little more money if I sell it in the spring but I wouldn't mind moving it now. It sits in my driveway under a car cover, I drive it around town once every couple weeks to make sure it runs fine.
This car can be street legal if you can find an OEM cat. It should past safety since all factory lights, wipers, and seatbelts are in working condition.
Car is sold as-is with no warranty.
Asking $4,000 located just south of Boston. I have disclosed as much as I know. Feel free to ask any questions. Title in hand. I will entertain trades so feel free to ask.
