    Feeler: My 1989 2.8l Turbo e30

This is a feeler for the sale of my 1989 BMW 325i 2.8l Turbo e30. The reason I am selling my car is the fact that I need to drive in snow a bit. I’m in the market for an Audi A4 Avant, so I’m selling my pride & joy, blood, sweat and tears. If you know me around the forum, you know that I’ve always been modifying this car, breaking ground in some areas. The car has about 228k miles, the engine has about 30k miles. Don’t let the milage fool you, aside from a few dings, the salmon silver paint is in amazing condition, washed and waxed regularly. Basically I have reached a time in my life in which I need a good daily driver car, reasonable gas mileage that is AWD and can drive in the snow. As far as pricing goes, I'd like for this car to pay for the Audi that I buy, and maybe have some money left over. I'm buying the Audi very soon on a loan, but would like to sell this car once everything is done (probably sometime in January or February). Right now I'm in the "what kind of offers could I get" stage, as it is a feeler, but I am looking in the general area of $10,000 with everything properly running.

    Stats:
353whp and 405ft-lbs at 16psi (with Garrett turbo, could be more higher end hp with holset).
    12.9 @ 109mph in the 1/4 mile

    Condition:
There are a few dents on the exterior, 2 in the rear quarter panels from something rolling around in the trunk. One in the hood, on the front passenger side from my father dropping something. A couple door dings, that are hard to notice, and I’ll take pictures of spots that are hard to explain.

I am currently putting together a new head for the car, the head gasket currently leaks a little compression, and I’d like to fix that before selling.

You can have the Garrett t04e turbo I had on there for a long time, to use it you’ll need to replace the oil seals, and re-weld a t4 flange on the manifold adapter.

I’ll also throw in a bunch of extra e30 parts I have laying around, you’ll get a set of bottle caps with pretty new Yokohama AVS-intermediate tires.

It needs new subframe, trailing arm and rear shock tower bushings. When you get on it right now, it has pretty bad wheelhop. I may or may not replace these before the sale, we'll see.

Thanks, and feel free to ask questions.

I don't want Matt to sell this car, but I know hes doing whats best for his overall future. The car runs wonderfully and pulls like a freight train. Hope it goes to a good owner and it doesn't get R3Ved. This is a lot of car to handle for anyone.

This is truly the end of an era. Matt was just at my house a couple weeks ago, and mentioned nothing about possibly selling it. I am sad.

But the new owner won't be! Good luck, Matt!

I think you could get way more then 10,000$ for it. Just looking at the quality of the car from the exterior you could sell it for that much; it's hard enough trying to find a stock E30 as clean as yours so DON'T let anyone low ball you UNDER 10k$. That is my .02.

GL on the sale, it's an amazing car!

An Allroad would be very cool as well, lots of toys out there for them and the Air suspension is great for the lift for trips in deep snow.

Will be sad to see it go but you have your reasons.
