    FS: 1991 318 e30 m60 V8 swap northwest

I'm looking to raise capital for a startup business and reluctantly putting my e30 m60 up for sale. It really kills me, but there is a price to be paid for the privilege to be the master of one's own career. Selling all the nice toys is one of the first prices to be paid. So here goes:

1991 318 with every moving part bin'd and replaced.

All work done by AKG Motorsport. 4000 miles on the car since everything was done. 2000 of those are from the drive from Chicago to Boise. That's right, car drove for 2000 mile cross country with zero problems. This swap is the real deal. 134K total miles on the chassis.

    Now on eBay !

Interior is tan, stock (total sleeper) and almost perfect. Drivers seat cloth has some tears, but otherwise amazingly clean interior. (Update: Interior pics added on page 2)

Issues: Heater valve or switch sometimes makes a ticking noise and at freeway speeds will close, disabling the heater. Restarting the car resets it. Probably just needs a new switch. I would call this a summer car, so this is a minor issue to me. 300ft/lbs of torque does not mix well with rain or snow. Also keep in mind that all drive train parts are urethane mounted to deal with the monster V8, so you will get drive train noise in the cabin. Do not expect this car to be as refined as a new M3. Do expect it to be quicker! Also, the OEM 'M' dampers are too soft and should be replaced with much firmer units. All very minor issues. You just won't find a better swap car for this price.

Questions and positive comments are appreciated for the bumps. Offers and anything personal should be directed to me via PM.

Car looks great! Just how I would do it, very nice.

I'm not a fan of the grills, but you didnt ask for my opinion. And are you sure the wheels are 17x8.5? I thought that all DS1's were 17x7.5.

        Anyway, beautiful car.

        Good luck with your sale!

Oops, I'll fix that and another typo I just noticed.
I never warmed up to the 740 grill either, I was planning to trade it for a euro setup next summer. Can't go wrong with the euro grill.

'95 is a 4.0 and stock HP is around 290. My '95 540 with Dinan chip was just over 300hp. Translates to a lot of fun in a light e30.

Bump and good luck with the sale.
