So after all my work and money...

shit went downhill with my car. i had a shop bleeding my brakes (due to air in the abs system). they got the system bled and took it for a test drive, when they hit the brakes the caliper bolts on the passenger side failed (one fell out and one snapped) causing the cailper to break free lock up the wheel. Which led to the caliper snapping my new stainless line, cracking my new rotor. Then the caliper got launched downward into the wheel creating an ungodly sized hole in my new r10, flatspotted my new falken tire to the point of where there are 2 seven inch holes on the sidewall.

On top of all that, when the caliper grabbed, it decided it needed to bend shit out of wack on that side and fuck the caster on my passenger front corner.

Awesome. This is why you always double check your friend's work when they're working on your car with you.

I always thought my buddy was kind of an asshole for doing that to me, but he would tell me stories like yours and it all made sense.

    Lesson learned, expensively :(.

No, You have to show us who it was; just in case we happen to befriend him, we don't even let him help out.....

                LOL @ Teaguer...

When it comes to friends and working on cars, I don't know if its me buy i prefer working alone unless i need a hand (i call my dad or my brother to help me temporarily). I also get stuff done more faster.

Sucks about the wheel, but Ronal is having a killer sale for them...$75!!!

Sounds like you just might need a caliper and maybe new susp. goods for that side only. Not sooo bad but it could of been prevented. Is the "friend" reimbursing you?

I've had a wonderfull day, spending 3k on a COMPLETELY new suspension to have it all get anally raped by a friend (name not mentioned) being rushed and only hand tightening all the bolts on the front calipers.
