For sale is my beautiful e30, a 1991 325iX. I don’t have to sell it or really need the cash, but I have a friend offering me his 944, and an r1 awaiting me this summer. So I’d prefer to save up some cash and buy a nice e36 m3 or something fast for summer. Seeing as winter is fading on the East Coast. I can part with my winter car with no worries and buy a rwd car again.
First things first.
Features and options
Alpine White on Black Vinyl(Leather?) interior
Heated Seats
Blinking Side Marker Upgrade
Power Sunroof
Automatic
Ski Sack
4 Wheel Drive
Power Locks (All work perfectly)
Alpine Component Speakers
2 Alpine Type S 10 inch sub’s with 1000 Watt Kenwood Amp (Will lower price to keep this, if you’d rather not have it.)
Aiwa Head deck with CD/MP3/RCA out (Will lower price to keep this, if you’d rather not have it)
Power Windows
Tinted (Aftermarket) Windows
Drivers and Passenger Side Air Bags
188,000 miles
28 mpg highway
I’ve driven it about 3000 miles this winter with nothing but good things to say about it.
Pros:
Car’s interior is absolutely mint. Looks like no ones ever sat in the drivers seat.
No cracks on the dash, no issues at all inside.
Every button every feature every light works perfectly.
Not ONE leaking fluid or drop of anything from the engine or transmission or transfer case.
All wheel drive works perfectly, fluid levels all in check.
Transmission flushed and filled upon purchase.
The car is literally as nice a condition car you can find on the east coast.
Cons:
Slight rust/rot under two door sills and small bits of rust creeping up edges of lower body panels, can still be sanded and recovered.
Needs new front tires.
Needs rubber donut for exhaust so it wont rattle about (exhaust is mint no leaks or holes, just missing stupid cheap rubber part)
I’d recommend new stock springs, previous owner cut a coil, and made ride harsher rather than sporting.
Needs oil change.
SRS light on.
Occasional condensation in trunk, too cold to worry about but hasn’t happened too often (about twice this season)
Missing glove box for whatever reason (all mounting hardware there, just no glovebox, I never got around to replacing it)
Needs alignment/camber check, wears front tires quickly.
Missing front spoiler/lip (no clue where it is, never had one when I bought it)
That said, after looking at other 325iX’s for sale, I think I can safely put mine up for 4700 or best offer.
I’d like to sell before April 2nd. That’s when I have the opportunity to buy my friends 944 off him. Fairly firm on the price for now, since locals have expressed interest close to that number.
You can PM me or Email me at asadqh@gmail.com or email me and I’ll talk to you over the phone. I’m up almost all night and awake most of the day so feel free to contact me and expect immediate responses.
Car is located in Cambridge MA, and came from non titled state so is sold with Bill of Sale. Passed inspection in MA and NH with flying colors and no work needed. If anyone wants to come take a look let me know, more pictures at this photobucket album and a slideshow is below. Thanks!
