    Long weekend of automotive goodness

Went to Buttonwillow Raceway -> La Hambra, CA (L.A. area) -> back to Buttonwillow Raceway. Here are some of the shots from the trip..

While waiting for some tires to get shaved...

At DRS (Dynamic Racing Solutions) in La Hambra installing some new stand-alone related stuff on the black Exige and doing some tuning on the blue Elise..

Back at Buttonwillow for the Lotus Challenge, the blue Elise broke a track record (1:55.8 - config 13 clockwise) on one of the last few runs of the weekend..

shop looks cool.... but that would be absolutely terrible to work in while the dyno is running.
looks like fun for all at the track

                Thanks guys.

The way the dyno was set up was great, Id prefer that than our set up at Modacar/FocedFed. The ducting kept the fumes out and the noise to a minimum, unless your doing a load tuning and the turbo is spoolin like a mofo.

So what setup is on the blue Elise? HP/TQ numbers?

And here you see, in the atom bomb testing, the only thing not effected was the Lotus Elise due to its aerodynamics.

                        awesome pics, thx for posting.

Umm its the ForcedFed development car, built motor (sleeved & lower comp. ratio), GT2871, and all the fixens. That day its was making 340whp & 270wtrq, turned the boost down a little cause its for sale and didnt want any issues. In the past it was 400whp & 320wtrq. Car drives great on the street, Ohlins is the shit, as long as you stay out of the throttle . I personally like driving the 275 package equipped cars (turbo kit on the stock motor with a GT28R) cause you just stay in the throttle, little less insanity. 340whp doesnt sound like much but in a mid engine, short wheel base, 1900lb car its a handful..
