    Trendy meets Dorfito

I met up with a buddy today, who turns out to be our 'local' e30 drift representative (641215 here on R3V). Still starting out, so his car still looks fresh :p My car is thrown into the pics for good measure.

    Baller window stickerz

Somebody butchered the settings, so now my car is unofficially Henna Red

    Dorfito mobile

    Tuckage

    More Dorfito mobile

I got a new mod lately! Euro plate filler. So hot, makes the rear look that much more complete

    Inspirations

    Enjoy!

Love your e30. Wheels, stance, no tint= uber sex.

Ya what rates did you get on the j-stocks? Must be pretty rough for a DD, but I bet the car handles amazing!

I am seriously considering this suspension, but their website doesn't really provide any information. I would like to know if you can buy just the springs or would i have to buy the entire suspension. What is the set-up that you have, just springs or the entire suspension thats worth over a $2000 dollars?

even if they do sell the springs seperately you need the stiffer shocks to handle the springs.

Livable. Its still streetable IMO though. Others who say its retardedly stiff are just exaggerating or never ridden in a racecar before.

Springs, Shocks, and also the fixed camber plates, which I did not use. Bought new offset Crash Strut Bearing Mounts instead.

Thanks. As for the rates, I know this sounds dumb, but I don't know exactly. The PO said they were 700~Front, and 1000~Rear. I got them used, they had been on the car for 4 track days and the car got wrecked. Then I bought them :D

You can buy the springs and shocks separate off their website.

^^ What he said. My old setup was IE StgIIIs w/Billy Sports, and I felt the rebound wasn't enough to control those springs, especially in the front. This JS setup now is heaven on track in comparison. Its awesome.

So if i pair these springs up with billy sports, do you think will i get the same results as in ride height and handling?

                          Ride height, Yes. Handling, No.

It may* be okay for street, but anything at faster speeds, like canyon carving, track, etc etc will not be great. Any midturn bumps will upset the car and it won't settle... You'll be steering into quite a fight.

Actually... you know, I don't even think the compression would keep up to these either (and Bilstein Sports for the e30 are known to have fairly hard compression damping) Rebound is out of the question. A solution is get them revalved to J-Stocks specs. TrueChoice in CA can do that for you IIRC. Search around here for their contact info.
