Searching this section has been very helpful. If your car is a manual, you want to use the manual E30 tps.1973 Bavaria

Is there any way you can just use the auto TPS? Mine has the 6 pin plug also.
Is the only way to change it is to get a manual harness and TPS?///Monstrosity. (OO≡≡[][]≡≡OO)
Aside from showing yourself to be offensive, lacking experience and ignorant in the ways of business, you're also illiterate and imprudent. Beyond that, your sense of liability is severely impaired.

I didn't know that the round was auto plug and the manual had a different plug. So what I was going to do was use the original plug and solder the six wires into the the three from the m20 harness. I was under the impression that there are two sets of three, so scrapping one of each of the wires would work. Don't take my word for it. Try it out and let us know how it turns out.
