I purchased this car YESTERDAY and drove it to Illinois from South Carolina, and regretfully have to say that I have to sell it...:embarrasm
Background story:
This car is a notorious heavy hitter in the E30 community, and I've always drooled over it. (Qimis days)
Given the opportunity to buy it, I asked my Father for a little bit of financial aid, as I only make so much working part time as a student.
He declined, and said it wouldn't be a good idea. Well...I ended up coming up with the money, and pulled the trigger and purchased this spectacular vehicle.
Unfortunately, my Dad turned out to be a bit irate once he heard that I flew to SC, purchased the vehicle and drove it back.
As a result, I'm forced to put this car back on the market AGAIN, otherwise I will most likely be castrated.
Within the less than 24 hours of ownership that I've had with this beauty, around 5:30am today a raccoon decided to take the Mtech II front bumper with it :(...
I was able to dodge the first one, but this startled the second one. When I pulled over at the gas station my heart dropped, as the Mtech II bumper was one of the selling points for me.
As a result of this, the price is dropped $1500 from the asking price when I purchased. This is also almost half of the asking price when I originally saw this car for sale.
$7500-Firm
$5500 without BBS wheels - Firm
From my apparent expensive cross country test drive :confused...I can conclude that:
The S50 is extremely clean, and purrs throughout any RPM.
The sound system is amazing, I felt like I was in a miniature home theater.
The Xenon lights are fantastic at night, as are the 3000k fogs, turned out to be very useful.
The interior is not only gorgeous and immaculate, but extremely comfortable as well.
Mtech bumpers do not cooperate with raccoons.
I know this isn't your everyday for sale thread situation, but it is what it is...This car is excellent guys, you've all seen it and know what it is.
Only issues are the bumpers, and some small paint touch ups that need to be done.
And I apologize for anyone wanting to trade, but that route probably isn't the best move for me right now...
