Yup. Follow the link in the post for updated pics. I also just put this up for sale if any of you are local to me.

If those front fenders are in good shape they're worth a decent amount of money because convertibles usually got rusty on the rocker of the front fenders. I'd say easily $100/ea

Good deal for someone in the Atlanta area.

Not to mention the diff and tranny. I had someone offer me $50.00 today. wow. I thought I was being more than fair lol.

You are, don't sell it for less as you can get close to 300 if not more by just selling a couple parts . The question is if you can get rid of the chassis to maybe a scrap yard as bare metal ?

There is supposed to be a yard somewhere that will take the car as long as there are no fluids or tires on it and pay by weight. I just don't have the proper tools to take it much further besides the fenders/doors. I'm not risking my neck crawling under it as I have shitty tools and zero experience. So I figured $300 would be enticing enough to someone and it would put me even on what I had in it.

Well, I've taken my 89 325i apart and the main thing is make sure the chassis in on good jack stands (and there is no rust where you put the jack stands)... engine/tranny won't exactly fall out and same with driveshaft/diff unless the subframe is broken or rusted. So, you should really consider taking the diff / driveshaft out if anything as a spare if it doesn't sell. If it still has a cat on it, you can throw it on ebay as scrap and it will sell in 30 minutes for 200+....

You got 200 in lsd, 200 in cat, 100 or so in driveshaft, 50 per fender, 50-100 per door, 50-100 gas tank/pump, 200+ tranny..... so $300 is MORE THAN FAIR.

                        good luck :)

Keep in mind scrap rates have tanked along with the rest of the economy.
The $17.50-$20/100lb. days are long gone. Prices at my pic ur part are half what they are in Cali. We get $75 for open or lsd, $30 for drive shafts, $35 for fenders, $45 for doors, $16 for fuel tanks, and $100 for trannys. I'd say your $300 is realistic for a rolling shell. That cabrio stuff is hard to find. Problem is if you don't want to get involved shipping it may take awhile to move it. You can ship fenders and door shells but it may be more PITA than its worth.
