Ill start with the background of this car first. In 2004 my brother bought this car for $2,800 to be his DD, when he had it inspected he found out that it needed some work. Dealer said it would cost 5k+ (which looking at it now could easily have been able to pass MD inspected for about $400-600; the main part being the top which I guess for a brand new factory one is $3k+ alone) The car was in really great shape and drove perfectly I am ashamed I didn't know about how awesome e30s were...in fact I never even saw this car until about a year and a half ago as it was parked at my moms friends house. I still have the inspection paper and the main things it needed was a new top (due to the rear window not being visible and falling apart) and new brakes. So the car sat for a couple years, then I moved to a new house and it was towed here.
This past summer I decided it would be a fun project and began putting time and money into it. Of course it wouldn't start, so using my super-newb skills I replaced the fuelfilter/hoses/fuel pump and it starts up now (still doesn't idle right though). Then the next problem, it wouldn't move(literally)...I still don't know why either the calipers are rusted and locked up or the e-brake is locked up. Either way the m20 couldnt move it. So, I hate to sell it but I would much rather someone take it and use it/fix-it-up w/e.
I am selling it as-is you can take it and do whatever you would like. It certainly could be restored and used daily or just used for parts.
Specs:
1990 325i convertible
Alpine white II / Blue sport leather interior (interior is shot though; would need re-upholstery)
14" Basketweave wheels with decent tread
155k miles on it. whether the odo works or not(im not sure), but that's how many original miles are on it.
5-speed (getrag 260/5?)
black top
The title is clean, but its not in my name. Not sure if that would be a problem, and I am sure I can get it in my name. Also, you can see in one of the pictures, there is some dmg/rust on the drivers side on the hood/fender. I believe it was in a accident and was just never repaired properly and that's why the title is still clean.
Here are some pictures for now, I will get a ton more sometime this weekend.
not sure on price, I am thinking around $1,500 if you come and tow it
also, I would be willing to trade for a coupe capable of being a DD, could even throw in some cash for the right car.

Also, I had planned on doing a front plastic bumper swap...but only got about half way lol.
The front valence shown here was originally red but I painted it alpine white II. as well I painted the grills trim black.
