I recently attended the E30 Dyno day in North Hollywood, Ca at a shop known as RMS or Race Marque Systems. After being a bit unpleased with the numbers I had put down, I decided to cough up the dough and see whats really going on with my motor and try to squeeze some more power out of it. I spent last Saturday tuning with the owner of RMS Mr. Osh. I was also blessed to have to expertise of a representative of Miller MAF systems. He took a look at what my car was doing and made some tweeks where he saw fit. The first dyno graph was from my pull at the E30 Dyno day with all of the other guys.

The mods that were on my car in the graphs above were 19lb injectors, M30 AFM, Mark D 91 octane chip, 8mm plug wires, and long tube headers into full cat back exhaust.

While these graphs were recorded, I wasn't running a chip at all, I was running directly off of the laptop on a simulator program. When Osh reached max HP he took the data points he changed and burned them onto a new blank chip.
I actually didn't get my graph emailed to me of my motor with no software at all but I can remember the numbers off the top of my head. With no software I was at 121.3whp and 123.8wtq. So you can take those numbers and compare them to the graphs above from last Saturday.
Hands down, I am very happy with what was accomplished in only a matter of 3 or 4 hours. I wanted to post these numbers not to brag, because obviously there is nothing to brag about, but rather to inform people about what just a proper tune will do for your motor and to give everyone with an m20 a basic chart to start with.
I also posted this because there are quite a few members on here that don't approve of RMS and would never send their vehicle there. The work that is conducted there is top notch and I was really happy to give them my business. I would like to extend a BIG thanks to Osh and Chris at RMS for all the help and expertise that was sent my way. To anyone who is skeptical about RMS, just give them a chance. Osh will fully back anything he does to your vehicle.
