    F.S in CT... RARE 3 piece O.Z. Fittipaldi's

hey i know im new here i actually just happened to stumble uppon your site looking for more info on the wheels im selling.. i know this is my first post but im a long time member of www.Vwvortex.com my name is High Body Slc.. this is the same thread i just wanted to make the E30 guys more awware.. there also for sale on bimmerforums.com... i know some of you guys visit them, saw someone here baught some hre's off a fellow corrado driver from RI..saw you guys have some awsome wheels here thought id give it a shot..

    looking for 1200 O.B.O.....
i dont know what there worth.. so im open to suggestions

hey guys just baught these about a month ago and was planning on fixing them up and putting them on my car. come to find out they wont fit with out some work (mazda protege)
but these should fit very nicely on almost any vw that can take 15's
they are true 3 piece wheels... ive done the hard work and removed all the stock OZ bolts (tool alone is 300+ bucks or 50 to rent)
they have been separated because 2 of the wheels the lips were bent..
i baught MINT stock 1 inch BBS RS lips and NEW stainless steal bolts(no nuts yet)
i will include the stock 1 1/2 inch reverse lips with the deal and the stock bolts
the centers were missing when i baught the wheels... in my opinion they look better without them
    stats on the wheels:
    15x7
    et: 28
    4x100
weight just around 15.3 lbs without nuts and bolts
the wheels are in great shape... the faces will accept any lips made for bbs rs's, i was limited on room so i just stuck with stock sizes.. if you hear that the lips dont fit thats BS... here is a picture i took of the actual wheels i have, test fitting the rs lip.. you can se the stock inverts in the back,,

the best way to reach me is through vwvortex or brooks197@hotmail.com ... but now that there here ill also check here from time to time

Local guy here sold his for 350 cuz he didn't know what they were worth, had them for a month also, so wasn't even a quick sale at 350. Love those wheels by the way, my favorite wheel. Been giving the new owner of the wheels hell cuz I want them, and their local.

I wasn't offering to buy, just letting you know since you said you had no idea on price.

Just an observation but how can you not know what they are worth when you "baught" them a month or 2 ago? Even at half your asking price people here probably wont wanna buy them.

I have the same wheels in 5 lug and love em. Still refinishing them for spring. Do you have the OZ bolt tool? After I'm done with my tools I'd sell/rent them to somebody if they ended up buying these.

Also if you keep an eye out, the OZ centers from some similar looking 1 piece fittipaldis work on these and should be cheaper and easier to find.

i know what i payed?? how i payed is irrelevant bacause i traded items to get them.. so then you would have to figuer how much vw parts are to this person.. not trying to look like a ass... but ive baught new lips, rented the special tool for removing the bolts, removed the bolts and pita to remove sealent from under the reverse lips.. and i just baught brand new bbs stainless steel bolts...
just the money ive spent on these items make up half of my asking cost alone..

                    MOSSMAN-
i actually just heard last week that oz fittipaldi one piece centers fit.. i also heard that there is a newer style oz wheel that the centercap fits on these.. the opening is 6.25.. ive been trying to do a little reasearch on them, to track them down

Those wheels are not BBS RS and won't fetch your first payment on your house's mortgage.

Spend $1000 to have them PROFESSIONALLY painted and polished, with all new fasteners and try to sell them for $1200usd... if you are lucky. Or sell them for under $400usd which is about its value. Sorry, you don't sit on a gold mine.

+1 this is vortex, you aren't going to get over $500 for wheels that need refinishing. You can ask for $1200 when you have new mirror polished lips on those things and they are completely refinished.

Otherwise, go back to vortex and try to find a sucker.

ok there is a obo on the side of it.. and if you think these wheels are 400 wheels your on drugs.. im not saying they are a gold mine and i did say im not positive on the price.. ive had more sets of wheels then you probibly have sneekers.. ive had wheels professionally powder coated/polished/pieced together.. i know the cost of all of these so dont come on my thread and post negative stuff

hey not trying to thread crap but I saw those wheels at a local junkyard 2-3 months ago, no bent lips a little scratched but in fair condition. asking price was $35-$39 per wheel.

Maybe vortex is a better market for you............GLWS

Oh I almost forgot, the price at the junkyard included used tires.

Okay then. I can be a buyer if the price is right. So far, I understand that two 1-1/2" lips were bent and replaced by 1" units.

Please could you clarify what is the current offest and width? Is that a staggered set now? I dont mind buying your wheels for spares. But only if price is right. And don't worry about the $300 OZ tool. I bought my set for $75 in Germany and can put wheels together.
