Sealed beams vs euro ellips vs euro ellips + hid

I haven't been able to find a thread that has comparison in the light output with pictures.

First off the stock sealed beams were less than stealer, I picked up a set of euro ellipsoids on ebay from germany. Wow what a improvement but got to thinking if hids could make them better. I picked up a set of ddm h1 6k hids. They look pretty nice for the price, all the connectors are sealed and seem to be good quality.

Sorry the pics are not that great, havent been able to find my tripod lately.

Im really quite pleased with how everything turned out. The cuttoff is pretty good but I need to work on the aiming of them.

    Hopefully this will help someone.

    Wow, this is really helpful!
Do you have a write-up of how you did this?
I know there are a few going around, but I'd like to know if you did anything different.

I got them from here . I didn't do anything different I wouldn't think. Instillation is very straight forward with a test light and a little soldering for the relay.
