Bad transaction with Curt ie "e30 Groupie", Van Westervelt"

    Mods, please keep this open.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable that I try and get resolution on my transaction with Curt. And since I’ve not had success with other outlets: phone/email/and pm, I’m posting a new thread.

I’m hoping that Curt can reply to my last post in the thread that had been locked:
    On 8/13/08 you stated:
“I have another interested party. Either way, I am going to make these so they can be sent out shortly.

    PMs replied. “

So on 8/13 you only had 2 orders with a possible 3rd, but in accusing me of scamming you said that you had 10 sets ordered from your supplier and shipped out to your buyers.
1.) How did your order go from 3 sets to 10 sets?

If you did actually ship the spacers, it’s your responsibility as the seller to notify the buyer when items have shipped and ideally provide a tracking number.
You had many opportunities around the time you supposedly ship the spacers to notify me that they had shipped.
2.) Why did not tell me the parts had shipped?

I've known Jeff for 10+ years, helped him install his S52 and other mods. He's a stand up guy, has made plenty of transactions on the forum, and wouldn't take someone for $200.

Reputations don't put money in the buyers hands unfortunately. Even the best sellers come across hard times and make mistakes. This seems to be a recent trend with this guy.

We both know that Jeff never got his parts and that they were never shipped...otherwise his friends would have heard about it and he would have had them on his car by now.

Up until recently, he was still receiving empty promises from Curt.

Now all of a sudden, Curt Van Westervelt has found it easier to claim that the parts were shipped last September.
