San Diego BMW Car Club of America - Clean car contest
The e21 with that strange award thingy won the "memorial" award last year. That car sparked the judges attention the most last year. This year it won masters and was the cleanest car there.
The e28 m5 won 1st in the "super clean" category, but the e21 definitely deserved to win masters. Here are all my pics
Here is the e21. The guy said his dad bought it brand new when it first came out and he has passed away and he keeps it in immaculate shape entering it in many contests.
Back to the rest of the cars
This is Paul Cain's 3.8csi. This man is my neighbor and a very nice guy, his car would have won masters hands down. He said it has already won masters in this contest, and placed first in about 6 other contests so he put it up on display only to let somebody else have a chance to win. I think that's pretty honorable.
I took lots of toolkit pics
Here's my car. I entered in "clean" category and scored 85 out of 100. I thought this was pretty good considering this was my first contest. I had no idea what to expect or any of the little tricks they use. I didn't expect to place or anything I just wanted to see where I was at.
This car won the memorial award. It was ..... Perry (i don't know her first name but it was Ron Perry's wife) 2002tii and I only have a pic of the engine bay but this pic explains enough
whoops. this guy forgot something....
