i figured i might as well test out the video camera on this terrible excuse for an Alpina.



by the way, it took about a minute to upload this directly from the phone over 3G.

Can't say I'm too impressed with the video. It pretty much looks like the crycoder app for the first gen and 3g iphones.

keep in mind the video is compressed, then uploaded to youtube, which also doesn't have great quality. if you just email it, the video looks just as good as any other VGA video coming from a digital camera or something, which for a phone, is pretty much the best that is in existence. also, from my brief tests, the audio quality is really good, i am guessing because the microphone is already designed for picking up a large range of sounds from various distances due to the speakerphone feature.

if i want to make a film, i'll buy a camcorder. if i want to take a quick clip to share with people, the iphone looks like a good choice to me.

that is exactly what i asked myself. i wanted to find the guy and see what he did with the wheels. maybe i could've bought them for cheap and then made an alpina baby donk out of my e30. i just wouldve needed some 195/25-20 tires.
