    FS: Factory Moonroof (w/all hardware inc. motor)

    Hey guys,

    Just pulled this out of my parts car. Looking for $460 local pickup or $560 shipped in the continental US. If there's interest I can bring everything to SoCalEuro this Saturday (San Diego, CA).

    Details: mechanically, condition is 9/10... before I removed everything it worked great except the sunshade. It slid by hand, but it would catch when opening via power due to the loose headliner (as seen in the pics). ALL hardware (motor, cables, sliders, even nuts & bolts, switch and OBC/overhead piece) is included and is in working order which should be a plus for those of you trying to convert a crank sunroof to power moonroof .

    Cosmetically its a 6/10. As you can see, the black trim is chipping and the shade has seen better days. But everything is complete, so you can use the existing headliner for a template, for instance, if you want to fab a new one.

    Questions? Please PM. Thanks!! :pimp:

      Just weighed the glass panel... it's 16lbs, 18 with sun shade, just in case anyone was wondering. :pimp:

        Hi she loved e

        How does the black inside trim piece look (the part that holds the visors) - any rash? Do you have more pics of this?

        It looks as though the sunshade had lots of water damage - did the roof leak? I've never seen a glass roof assembly in person - how does the roof assembly seal against the body (rubber gasket? hard to tell in the pics) if it's a gasket - is your in good shape, or any idea if it's still available from a dealer?

        Thaks - offer pending reply

          lgb240 -

          the trim is in great shape... no scratches or broken bits. The obc comes with too, and works great.

          Sun shade/seal: The seal is included, although as you noticed it looks like water has come through in the past (this may have been condensation-related as opposed to a leak, as the headliner in the car was immaculate). You should double-check, but I have heard that the moonroof uses the same seal as a standard metal sunroof... if this is true it is readily available at the dealer (and not too expensive).

          I cleaned the panel so you can see that most of the stains have come out... another pass with plastic cleaner/polish and the rest of the marks should come out.

          Let me know if you have any other questions.

            I sent you a PM yesterday, probably too late - just wondering if you still had this for sale.

            let me know ...
