    WTT 1991 G60 GTI for 325is PNW

UPDATE: Just took the car to WaterWerks '09 and had it dyno'd. Car makes 154whp and 165ft/lbs at the wheels. Fresh pics and dyno sheet scans coming soon.

Car is a 1991 Volkswagen GTI with G60 Corrado engine swap. I am the third owner and I work at a parts/service shop that specializes in VW's so this car has been maintained quite well. PO was a long-time tech for VW and is the man who put the car together. Original owner was an enthusiast. I love this car to death but I really want something RWD and I've always wanted an E30.

Engine is mostly stock, only upgrades being stage 1 chip and Idle Stabalizer re-route. Supercharger has about 20k on a rebuild from Bahn Brenner Motorsports. Other mods are as follows:

    Drivetrain
    -Neuspeed weighted shift rod
-Eurosport Acc short shift selector shaft
-Freshly lubed bushings. Shifts are smooth as butter.
-16v GTI clutch disc (higher clamping force than G60)

    Exhaust
-Techtonics Tuning cat-back w/ Eurosport Acc (magnaflow) muffler
-Techtonics Tuning racing downpipe (cat deleted. Car is tuned to still pass emissions this way)
-Yes it's loud. No, it's not obnoxious. Though it doesn't have any trouble setting off car alarms in parking structures. Just sounds like a really pissed off supercharged VW. Not at all ricey. Deep but not tinny.

    Suspension
    -Bilstein sport shocks and struts
-Neuspeed sport springs. Not too stiff but also not the best handling. I would change to H&R if I keep the car.
-Neuspeed adjustable swaybars front and rear
    -Neuspeed strut brace

    Brakes
    -Stainless steel lines
-Mk3 GTI front and rear brake upgrade
    -Cross-drilled rotors front and rear

    Wheels
-15" BBS RM's in okay condition. Could use re-finnishing. These will stay with me unless your car has something to compensate.
-Wrapped in some aging Toyo's. Tread still good, but could use replacing before fall.

I also have a pair of grey recaro seats installed that are in so-so condition. I would prefer to keep these which shouldn't be a problem as the originals are in better condition but they will be included for the right car.

Car does have a cracked windshield which needs replacing. Does not leak. Somebody took a shot at the car with a BB gun while it was sitting in front of the PO's house.

    Other tidbits
    -Optima red top
-Alpine deck w/iPod integration. Not an aux. jack.
    -K&N drop in
-E-code headlights w/ cities hooked up.
-Custom black and white plaid headliner. Old one was ruined.

Now as to what I'm looking for.
    -No Red or Bronzit
-No beige interior unless the rest of the car makes up for it.
-Plastic Bumpers are preffered but chrome is okay if the car is clean.

Pics are not super recent but are a good representation of the car. Sorry about the dirty engine bay.

i'd drive one before you write them off. they aren't much slower than a 325i/is, weigh significantly less, handle better, and are lower maintenance.

                      I'm not writing them off. I know they're cool. I just want a 6-cyl. I miss my VR6 but I want RWD.;-)

Old pics. I have since treated the textured trim.

                          Thanks!
