SOLD!!!
I purchased this car in January from a BMW Master Mechanic who used it as his daily driver. He owned it for approximately 3 years. The swap was originaly done at Treehouse Racing. The M50 is a single VANOS from a '94 325i.
The previous owner replaced the following within the last year or so of my buying it from him:
-Fuel Pump
-Thermostat
-Radiator
-Oil Pan
-Guibo
-Rear Brakes
-Clutch Master Cylinder
-Water Pump
-All Belts
-Transmission
The week before I picked it up he replaced the throw-out bearing, pressure plate and pivot pin. The cars shifts nicely now.
The body has approximately 234k on it (odometer was broken when I got it) and approximately 80-90k on the motor according to the PO. Amazingly enough the car has no rust (it was a southern car most it's life until I brought it up to NY)
The car currently has Ground Control coilovers, Racing Dynamic anti-roll bars, urethane bushings, and KMAC adjustable caster plates. It handles amazing!
Brakes are Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors in the front with braided steel lines.
Also previously installed before I got it are:
- 3.73 limited slip differential
- Bavarian Auto short shift kit
- Dinan Engine Management Software
The tires are 205/50/15 Kumhos in the front and 225/50/15 BFG G-Forces in the rear.
Since getting the car in January I replaced the entire interior. I removed the original worn biege interior with good condition grey carpet out of a 318is, new black micro suede headliner, leather seats out of a S2000, a good condition crack-free dashboard, black door panels, black kick panels, a momo/alpinia steering wheel, matching leather shift boots and e-brake boot and more. Basically everything.
I replaced the back seat with a custom built enclosure that houses a US Acoustics Amp and 8" Image Dynamics subwoofer that is completely carpeted. The rear speakers and removed and an Alpine H/U with ipod hook-up runs it all. Everything is rewired to run off the US Acoustic amp with Rockford Fossgate cables.
I also added a VSR bolt in roll bar that is powder coated black and wrapped in safety padding.
Here is a link to the interior swap before and after:

In addition to that I did the following:
- Replaced the 02 Sensor (less than three weeks / 100 miles old)
- Installed brand new duralast battery (less than three weeks old)
- Replaced the fuel filter (less than three weeks / 100 miles old)
- Installed a New AEM Dryflow air filter (less than three weeks / 100 miles old)
- Swapped all the bumper trim for euro trim
- Refinished the IS rear spoiler, grilles, kidneys, trim and etc.
- Shadowlined the window trim.
- Rebuilt the Odometer w/ new gears
- MHW smoked turn signals
- Installed E36 window switches
- Replaced lots of random parts and pieces.
There is probably so much more that I am forgeting, but here are the pictures:

Now for the bad:
- It needs a blower motor
- The body looks good in these pictures, it has 234k plus miles on it, has some hail damage and is rough (but no rust)
- Sunroof leaks in heavy downpours
