Why does the diagonal bar attach to the passenger side of the main hoop, and not the driver side? Also, no harness bar?

you can get those seat knobs to release the seat backs for access to the rear seats for about 1.50 each from the Porsche dealer, bmw no longer has them. if these numbers no longer work, you can order them from a 86ish 944.

yea, unless you have a RHD car, that is not an awesome cage. where is your harness bar? why are your nodes not even close to each other?

I'd agree with previous statements, looks cool but i'd question a few things about the bar. honestly if you're sticking with the seats, i don't know if you're more likely to get fucked by the bar by your head (bar switched), or at your lower back if not switched? I really doubt that actual deformation would be a concern if that is what other people were talking about? Also, on the topic of nodes, why not at least attach things?

If you roll that thing it looks like it's just going to fold in on your head. I don't even think a Snell 2005 would survive that although it might make you identifiable at the morgue.

Ok, yes I daily it. No, it's *Not finished* yet. And yes, those are Recaros from an E21, they are super comfortable. I'm still in college so over the next few years it will be a stripped out race car. At least that's what I plan. The cage is nowhere near done. But it will be all tidy in about half a decade haha. Thanks for looking.
