    Turbo m52

So my car has a new heart so i figure its time for a new thread.

Pulled the m50 cyl head to drop in a mls gasket and studs and found this:

So it was time for an M52

    Painted the bay

    mmm

    New charge pipe

And a pretty much finished picture:

And the 13.77 psi money shot:

    Cheers!

M52's proven to 700whp on stock block with MLS gasket and ARP head studs. One guy was making mid 500whp for over a year on the same motor set up. Thats good enough reason for me. And the M50 piston was munched and was turboed.

Polak, im running 14psi right now like the graph says. Its got a 3.15LSD in it with 205/55 rubbers. Yeah its fun, still no animal its pretty well tamed believe it or not. Traction issues rolling it on in 2nd gear only. I guess it pulls pretty hard though lol.

With the M52, you get a nice square motor, 84x84 mm, for next to nothing, with nice coated skirt pistons, and plenty of cylinder wall just like the M50. What's not to like? Beats the hell out of rebuilding a stock M50.

True cause the inside of the block was pretty nasty! Thanks for the help!

Right on man, yea it's a fun set up. I'm running AEM 30-1050 ecu. It's treating me well so far. Right now the holset turbo is the weak link.
