Stage one on my new 318is

So figured I post the progress as I go along with the e30.

So far fixed the a/c and installed new rotors and pads on all four. Removed sound dend shit from trunk and starting to gut the inside Thats it! lol but I do have some goodies in the mail!

    Heres how she sits now:

    1.OEM style carbon fiber hood
    2. Carbon fiber sunroof plug
    3. Carbon fiber door panels
    4. OEM fogs

I'm going to be building this car for str8 track with the option to street it from time to time. Next on the list is some nice seats "dont know what yet" roll cage, harness, coilovers "koni-GC" also ordered a 90mm bullnose studs for it and some long open lug nuts.

by "str8 track" do you mean drag strip?

And i like what you have done so far, your car really looks good, but if you are interested in my opinion (and i am sure a pretty general opinion here) i would put the stock wheels back on until you get your coilovers. Those wheels are totally sweet, but they just look funny with the car so high like that.

Your car will look AWESOME once you drop it down on those GCs with those wheels you have. 15x8 is the best size for an E30 next to 16x9.

oh, and next time you get tires, you should go a little wider, like 215s or 225s, you will like the look.

EDIT: where did you get those wheels from?

car looks niiiice so far! I'm not totally feeling the cf hood by itself but I know how heavy the stock hood is so thats a major weight saver.

Are you going to be racing in a series or just HPDE duty?

              i found the wheels: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Price

              actually a very good price.

but then again, 1 piece gravity cast (not forged) and made in good ol' China.

Don't forget the CF dashboard, rear trunklid, door panels, side mirrors...where is GoldE30 when you need him?

                Door panels: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=147143

                And the dashboard: http://competitionconcepts.com/BMWpr...e08312007.html

                And the center console: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=147242

Basically anything by Eurostop, they make a ton of CF parts. I like where this car is headed. What is the offset on those wheels? EDIT: Just saw the link, ET20 and that cheap at 15x8? Nice buy.

Ya I know I'm at suv status right now! The gc's will be ordered soon. As far as the hood I'm going to carbon everything I can find/make on it. I love the look of it. Thx for the comments

Speed is the last thing I want right now. I got to comfy with my old 550hp s2000. Going for looks first.

car looks good man! i like where your going.

I hope you dont take this as me being a dick this is more of a curiosity question buuuuut, if you are going to track the car then why would you stretch the tires? When you dig into a corner hard enough that beed is gonna pop right off....trust me i've been there and the outcome is not fun or cheap!!
                          Need Custom spacers and adapters?
