Won't be slamming this one... 88 325iS Build Up

I owned a 99 M3 for 7 years and had an itch to get back into an e30 for some more 'fun'. Was just bored of the M3. It sold and now I start on the e30! I searched for about 1 month and found some winners, found out 1 was wrecked so scratched that off the list.

I think it was fate since after I got the carfax I searched again and found a CL Ad posted just 12 minutes earlier. Called the owner, made a deal and 1 week later my friend and I were in the 328iC driving to Oxford to get the car.

    1988 325iS
    5-Speed
    145,000 miles
    2 Owner California Car
    Garaged
Everything works... Everything including A/C, all windows, electronics, etc
Overall it is in excellent condition inside and out. It is not perfect but it is close and I am loving every minute of it! End purchase price was 2300 dollars!

The plan is a street/track/auto-x/daily car. I won't be slamming it, won't be stretching tires, will be using shocks/springs and some decent looking wheels. Want it to be fun to drive around and fun to take to the track and auto-x and the occasional trip to The Dragon.

The future will hold an M52 swap with a turbo followed after the swap. Shocks/Springs, Sways and bushing upgrades. Plastic bumper swaps and some other minor aesthetic exterior upgrades. Interior will remain mostly stock since it has a nice grey sport leather interior. Definitely will update the audio with some amps, sub and nice head unit with component speakers.

Will try to keep the sell phone pictures to a minimum but sometimes I don't want to bust out the dSLR to take a photo of a box of Bilstein Sports!

Here she is on the ride home!

Items have started to come in and more have been ordered. The previous owner has stacks of receipts and work. Some I would have done differently so I am filling in some of the holes(like only doing front right wheel bearing and not doing them in a pair or doing control arms and bushings last year but no tie rod assemblies)

    On Order:

Front and Rear Balo Replacement Blanks
Front and Rear Axxis Ultimates For Street
Front and Rear Brake Pad Sensors
    L & R Tie Rod Assemblies
Front Wheel Bearing with new nut/hardware
    Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts
    Front Strut Mounts/Bearings
    Center Support Bearing
    Guibo/Flexdisc
    Meyle HD Rear Shock Mounts

    Soon to be Orders:
    IE3 Springs
Rota Slipstreams Full Polish 16x8 et20
    225.45.16 BFGoodrich KDW
    Plastic Front Bumper

    Already Here So Far:
    E28 535iS Spoiler
    35W HID Kit
2500K 9005 Yellow High Beam Bulbs
    2500 H3 Yellow Fog Bulbs
    Matte Black Kidney Grills
Lachssilber Plastic Rear Bumper and Swap Hardware

I think Slips look good. Very similar to Azev and Borbet Type A. I think they are supposed to be Rega reps. For the price paid they will be good for right now. The offset, size and width works perfect until I want to switch it up.

                              Awesome pick up.

What lens are you using? 70-200 L glass? That bokeh has such a nice look.
