FS: MI - 1988 325i Convertible with Hardtop

    SOLD

We are the source for the highest quality in BMW performance parts and accessories, including BMW armrest covers and boots.

UPDATE: Newly rebuilt engine was installed and the car runs like a champ. The new engine is fully rebuilt. Hot tanked block, new rings, main and rod bearings, main seals, head rebuilt with NEW valves, injectors blue-printed and matched, etc. It's about as close to a new M20 as you can get.

The car has 102k original miles. It's white with black leather sport interior. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly as it should.

Needs: This car needs a good set of shocks and struts. Tachometer stopped working, but I'm working on finding out what the issue is.

Any questions, feel free to PM or email me and I will get back with you as quickly as possible. I had big plans for this car, but have decided that I need to focus on my current projects instead of taking on another one.

Price set at $2900 after rebuilt engine install. Remember...no rust and a perfect convertible top...sport seats...and a new M20.

Only a spec at the passenger tail light where there is a paint chip (can be seen in the last picture) and a couple other small specs where the paint has a chip. I'll get some more detailed pictures to show there is really none to speak of. Definitely no "surface rust" or rust holes on the car. It was always garaged (until now) and I was told it was never driven in the winter and that is easy to believe by the condition of the car and the mileage.

Edit: Here's the picture of the rust spec from a paint chip.

Here are some new pictures. The convertible soft top is new. It's from GAHH and was professionally installed. With the top down, I can finally see the appeal of the E30 convertible. It feels spartan compared to my E36 convertible, but it's very like-able.

                  Thanks for the compliments.
When the Leatherique kit arrives, the car will get the full treatment. I've located a set of complete front struts and will likely pick them up tomorrow along with new rear shocks. I also have all the parts to rebuild the front end (tie rods, control arms, bushings, etc.)

It should run and drive like a new car within the next week.
