Now this is not to be mixed up with identical gimmicks that you'll find at Advanced Auto, this is the stuff that is sold at the BMW dealer! The fabric, almost clothlike, tape has such a nice feel to it; I'll admit that while using it on the wire harnesses, I caressed it against my face on numerous occasions. The part number for this heavenly Genuine Authentic Factory BMW Electrical Wire Tape is 61136902588, and it comes in 25 metre rolls that my contact at the dealer can get for a jaw-dropping $1.50/metre. YOU'RE FUCKING RIGHT THAT'S A DEAL!!! You may see similar (identical) rolls of tape at other places outside of the dealership, but let me assure you, the tape I'm advertising IS sold through a BMW DEALERSHIP. Please, make no mistake. I'm going to make a replica of this tape. Ill be making a few rolls for me, and selling them on ebay.

I took a photo of the cloth as well used samples to insure it has an IDENTICAL weave and texture to the originals.


As this is a public forum, and i see replicas on ebay, i see no issue.

No way, are you serious? Ohh man, I'm going to be so mad at my dealership contact. I go there once a day to buy zinc-plated hardware, I figured that sort of loyalty would amount to some savings. Goddamn dealership meanie-pooheads.

Last i checked, Most dealers cant get it, and most say the the 5spd mtech tape is NLA, leaving only the auto.
