1990 BMW E30 325i, 4Dr, 5spd, Black ext, Grey leather int, 298K on chassis with little rust and 178K on motor and tranny, 3.73 diff, factory radio, all stock.
Car had a blown motor when I purchased, and had been hit along the pax side. The front bumper is still cracked, pax front fender had a mismatched black fender and pax side front and rear doors had flat black primer where the doors are damaged. I repainted and added pin stripping to better the look of the car BUT I AM NOT a body shop guy, and even though car looks 10x better than when I got it, this is not a show car! Pictures of car on trailer are from when purchased and on the street are after repairs.
Motor has had all maintenance performed before being placed in car. Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, all water hoses, vacuum hoses, Acc belts, fuel filter, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. New clutch, tranny mounts, flex guibo, center driveshaft bearing and housing, Fresh fluids through out car, Mobil 1 non synthetic in motor and Red Line in tranny and diff. New, front shocks, front outer control arm ball joints and front sway bar endlinks, front brake rotors and pads. Rear end has new shocks, subframe mounting bushings, and brake pads. 4 match bridgestone tires with about 70% tread life left.
Known issues:
-I’ve tried and tried but the E-brake is in-op. Everything is there but the knuckles are frozen and won’t actuate the shoes. I can’t work on this any more.
-You must lock and unlock car from pax side
-Cracked dash
- Chipped windshield but no cracks
-driver and pax seats have been switched by changing frame bases. Pax seat has cracked leather on bottom and back. Broken back frame has been rewelded straight to get rid of gangsta lean.
-fuel gauge is in-op but reserve tank light works when needed.
-Replaced speedo due to in-op odometer, when I replaced gears in odometer I accidentally rolled mileage to 228K and not 298K but odometer and speedo work.
-6 button computer doesn’t work
