    WTT: 4x100 15x7 BBS RS's in SoCal

    UPDATE: $800 obo

Hey guys. I posted a feeler for selling these wheels awhile back. I ended up getting the one leaking wheel fixed, but apparently it's leaking again. I don't have the time or know-how to restore these babies to the condition they deserve to be in, so I'm letting someone else have a chance at them. Only problem is that I need a set of wheels to drive on. That's why I'm pretty much only looking into trades at the moment. Before you read further, please note that I'm interested in dealing locally if at all possible to avoid shipping headaches. Here's the skinny on the wheels:

    -They're a matching set of 4 BBS RS001, 15x7, 4x100, ET25
    -3 center caps
-mild to moderate (IMO) curb rash on three wheels
-some kind of corrosion or tarnish on lips (cleans up with some elbow grease though)
-centers were originally gold but resprayed silver by previous owner. Slight chipping in some areas but still look good from five feet away.
-come with 205/50 Dunlop Direzza DZ101s with about 70% tread left
-one wheel does not hold air for more than a few days

The passenger rear wheel is the one that leaks. I had a shop take it apart and resilicon it a year ago, but it just started leaking again in the last few weeks. Air pressure will drop down pretty low after only a couple days. It now has a noticeable bend in the lip incurred from an unseen speed bump ON THE WAY TO THE GAS STATION TO FILL UP WITH AIR .

I'll let the pics speak for themselves

    Passenger rear wheel

Lip of passenger rear. The shop that did the fix also cleaned it up a bit, so no curbage on this one.

    The bend

Passenger front wheel. Notice the small dent in the rim.

Lip of passenger front. It's mostly just dirty.

    Driver front wheel

    Driver rear wheel

Lip of driver rear wheel. I think this one has the worst curbage.

    Wheel center

Closeup on the model number. Authentic 15" BBS RS in E30 fitment.

So here's what I'll take in trade:

    4x100 15x8 ET22 Kosei K1 w/good tires. Straight-up trade
    4x100 15x8 ET20 Rota Slipstream w/good tires + $100 on top
    4x100 15x8 ET20 TRMotorsport C1 w/good tires + $150 on top

Other offers may be considered, but please keep in mind that finding a replacement set of wheels and tires is my first priority. Thanks for reading.

trade for 4x100 16x7.5 et30 Borbet Type C's With 80% rear and 90% front Ziex 502's 205/50/16's. How is the tire leaking? From the rim itself?

The air is leaking from the center of the lip, between two bolt holes. I originally thought it was due to a crack, but the guy who resilioconed it said he didn't see one. I don't know why it's leaking again.

I'm not a fan of Borbets, unfortunately. Sorry.

Yeah, I don't typically have high-dollar tastes when it comes to wheels. The only reason I have these is because they came with my car. I really do like them, but multi-piece wheels just aren't for me.

Damn I have some brand spankin' new 15x8 TRM C1's mounted/balanced with 225/50/15 BFG G-Force Sports that I just bought off Tire Rack. They're just sitting in my garage waiting for my fenders to be rolled, so they've never even been put on a car before. Unfortunately I don't have to funds to bring those wheels back to glorious shape.

I made him what I thought was a fair cash offer for RS001's in need of rebuilding (missing cap, resprayed centers, rashed lips and a massive leak) and he laughed at it. I think he might be in for a rude awakening when he tries to sell them, assuming he's still holding to what he PM'd me.

HINT: You can buy a perfect set for less than $200 more.
