*Sorry for the double-post, but not really. I'm posting this here because I'd prefer a trade, and obviously a local trade is more feasible than a non-local trade, and I know there are people in the PNW that only check this section.*
This car is for sale or for trade. I'm open to reasonable offers. Please do not poop in, on, or around my thread.
SOLD
what i'd like to trade for: a super nice E30 convertible plus a negotiable amount of cash on your end. preferably blue, black, silver, not bronzit. If you have a sedan or coupe, sorry. I want a vert! Must be 5-speed, unless your car is the epitome of e30 perfection in every other aspect and it is worth it to me to have a 5-speed swapped in.
i want to disclose that this car needs paint, badly. it looks clean from a distance and i have some great photos of it, but i promise it needs paint.
its a lachssilber 88 325is with a plastic bumper swap. around 170k on the chassis, around 105k on the drivetrain. the black sport leather interior is a pretty decent shape, although there is some wear on the driver door side bolster wear the foam is showing through a bit. grey carpet, power sunroof, maplight rear-view mirror, 13 button OBC (MPG reads correctly even with swap due to hoveringuy's correction module). the driver's side window motor works, but makes noise. last summer the dash got one crack going right down the middle. it is perfect enough that it could probably just be fixed instead of needing to replace the whole thing. all the locks work fine except it is hard to lock the car from the driver's door (unlocking is fine), so i just lock using the trunk, which i've had to do with all 3 E30s I've had. no cruise control, no a/c, although i still have all the parts if you wanted to make it work. the odometer doesn't work when it's hot outside. passenger door is dented near the fender because the car was backed into. The car has ellipsoids, euro grilles, and painted (red) tails.
on to the goodies:
OBD-I S52 with a TRM tune, ZF320 tranny, 3.25LSD. This car is so freaking fast. the car has been by far the lowest maintenance, most reliable e30 i've ever had. it has never ever not started, it's never left me stranded, and even after sitting for a month in the winter, it fired right up (so the battery is ok...). no electrical issues. i wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country right now.
JB racing lightweight flywheel with a stage 5 southbend clutch rated to 550hp. serious business. the previous owner was planning on a turbo...
suspension:
E36 M3 5-lug suspension/brakes in the front, 318ti suspension/brakes in the rear.
almost all the bushings (if not all) are polyurethane. about a year and a half ago I installed an H&R coilover kit ($1200). IE camber plates.
the car weighs 2700ish pounds.
things i've done since i've owned it, aside from oil changes:
injectors
intake boot
front wheel bearings
rotors/pads
custom exhaust - fits perfectly
245/35-16 Toyo T1R tires only have a couple thousand miles on them, if that.
E38 750i Style 4 wheels
painted the rockers, bottom of rear valence, and iS spoiler (SEM bumper coater trim paint)
5-lug spare that fits in the spare tire well and is the same diameter as the other tires
ejnight Race Skids skid-plate
the stereo is ok... the deck is pretty nice and it has an ipod hookup, but no sub or anything.
