    Allow myself to introduce myself

Hey guys, I've been hanging out here for quite some time, but given my join date and post count it's pretty obvious I've been spending most of my time reading instead of posting. However, now that I have something worth showing I figure it's time to make a formal introduction. I'm not really new to the e30 scene, I'm good friends with Julien who most of you know already. I was helping him wrench on some of his e30's almost a decade ago, but until about a year ago I wasn't an e30 owner. The rest will be spoken in pics.

    I was driving this guy.

Until a Nissan Altima going 55 in a 35 made it look like this:

So while trying to settle with insurance I picked up this:

    It had these seats:

This dash (and no, it isn't the sun making it look like that):

    This center console:

    These floor mats:

Better shot of the passenger side one:

Comparison of the new and old drivers side mats:

That brings us to how it sits now:

And what I am most proud of so far, the interior:

Skid plate from ejknight and IS lip will both be here next week, and then future plans are dropping in the OBD-I S52 sitting in my garage, plastic bumpers, wheels, MT1 spoiler, repainted mirrors, new rear seat, more suspension work... the list goes on. But most of that will be in the coming months when I pick up a new DD. Comments are welcome.

Looks great. Did you recover the seats or go with vert/M3 seats?

The car was made to be an LTW replica using OEM BMW parts by the previous owner. It also sported a adjustable front splitter, euro 6 speed and a couple dinan goodies.

Thanks for the comments guys. It's been a long process to get here, and I'm glad it's turning out as well as it is.

Thanks. I know the LTW spoiler isn't everyone's cup of tea, and to be honest it wasn't mine for a while. It was on the car when I bought it and I tried to take it off early on, but the PO attached it with fiberglass resin (or something similar) and it was not coming off. It took a little while, but it did grow on me, and the fact that it was functional kinda sold me on it.
