Mark D Chip and 19lb Injectors

I have for sale a Mark D chip the 173.6K9-9117 model already installed in a 173 ECU! These injectors require the 17 or 19 pound injectors that I will include with the fuel rail! The injectors I am including are 19 pound injectors. I am not sure the milage on the injectors but they ran fine while in the car. If you are looking at getting them cleaned I would recommend cruzin performance, nice guy with good pricing.

    ECU

Opened up to show it has the Mark D Chip...

I tried to take a picture of the serial number but my stupid camera couldn't focus on the numbers.

Here are a few pictures of the injectors on the fuel rail.

    Again crappy camera focusing.

The clips that hold on the injectors will go with everything.

I am selling everything you need with this Mark D chip all you need to do is install and have fun with your new power and mpg.

You do have to run 93 octane with these injectors (or atleast that is what I was told by the previous owner). There is a noticeable difference with this setup over stock but I just wanted to put my car back to stock before selling.

I am selling the package for SOLD

I would prefer local pickup but I am will to ship on buyers behalf, I am located in Richmond, Va.

    Thanks for looking,

    Brandon

Is that just a 91 octane chip though? Or did you go with the 93? The injectors are pretty much plug and play correct?

I bought the car with all this already installed, the previous owner said to run 93 octane so that is what I ran. According to the numbers on the chip and Mark's website it looks like you can run 91 octane.

Everything was taken off my 1988 bmw 325is so yes it is just plug and play.

when you took it all off and put stock stuff on, what was the honest difference in power in your opinion? 5%? 10%?

I am very interested in the 173ECU and the chip but not so into the injectors. But it sounds like the chip requires the injectors correct?

I put the stock stuff back on the car and I could tell a difference. I am not sure if it was because I unplugged the battery and changed the computer but the car defiantly idled better with the Mark D chip. I would say there is a noticeable difference with the chip, I hit the car on the highway after swapping over the parts and I could tell a difference.

not to ot, but, in the future, for focusing on things "real close" use macro mode, most digital cameras have this feature. on the selector wheel or back of the camera look for a little flower shaped icon button somewhere, select it and it enables focus on things very close

It typically take 10 engine starts for your car to figure out an ECU swap going either way. Your idle issue should be cleared up by the end of the week. As for the gains, I am confident the chip is useful for power, just not sure about the injectors. Im trying to look into this further. Thanks

According to Mark D this chip requires 17 or 19 pound injectors. Since he is the man who made this chip I would follow his instructions.

You can run 91 octane with this setup as well but I always ran 93 because it wasn't much of a price difference.
