I believe his insurance will be covering that (property damages), if he has insurance that is (pretty sure he does).

I too took out a fence with my old car. After my accident, I didn't have anything behind the rear window. Everything was completely smashed. And it all happened 7 days after a complete paint job, and all new bushings/ control arms/ tie rods, and a bunch of other stuff. Sucks. You'll be driving nice an careful for the next six months or so. Trust me on this one. I never want to experience what I experienced and neither do you I'm sure. The cop thought for sure I was dead but I popped my front door off and walked out with some gnarly cuts and bumps on my head. My shoes even came off in the accident. You'll be alright man I promise.

Fortunately the fence was not my doing lol. It was already like that, so I didn't do any property damage. Cop just gave me a "unsafe turning motion" ticket and didn't charge me for speeding. He was threatening me with hit and run since I didn't report it right away and waited until the morning to get my head straight and figure out what to do, but he let it go and just gave me that one ticket.

And it was oversteer, fishtailed a little bit and 4-wheel drifted into the curb I think.

Anyway I found a lady selling a perfect condition (in terms of body/paint) zinnot red 4dr (yes another 4dr!!) e30 that's not running, it's automatic, for $300. So I'm gonna pick that up tomorrow hopefully, my friend is gonna help me tow it home, and begin work.

frack! Well at least you're all good. Sounds like you'll be able to move all the good bits over to the next car. I assume you're going to trash the struts?

BTDT. Mine was a 242 Volvo sideways into a tree with the right front of the car. About 60mph. Spun the car around so fast that the right rear hit the same tree on the other side and blew out the rear window. All 3 of us walked away but that crash used to wake me up at night thinking of what could have been.

Glad your in one piece.

John

I agree, but in your opinion what's the min/max height limits with, say, 16s
