I've been thinking about selling my 91 318is. I have put well over $6k into this car since I bought it, runs great, made the 9+hour trip from Orlando to Helen for sowo with no issues.
Here are some of the things I've done to it so far, I'm sure I'll forget some things though:
custom euro rub strips, front is one piece
KW coilovers
16x9 and 10 RSs, 2.5" and 3.5" lips
window trim and front grills re-painted black (quite faded when I bought it)
Keyless entry
mk3 NA lip modified to fit
e-code smiley headlights with 4300k HIDs
new fuel pump and filter as of 5/13/2010
new emblems front and rear
all red tail lights
raceskids steel skid plate
fenders and quarters rolled flat, quarters pulled out about 5mm
oil changes every 2.5-3 months with mobile1 10w-40 full synthetic
lower oilpan gasket with new drain plug, oil changes with Mobil1 10w40 the 1st of every other month
new front wheel bearings
new strut mounts w/ bearings
new coolant temp sensor
new brake pads and rotors all around
speakers and radio were all re-wired from front to back
new front turn signal lenses (apparently hard to find)
outside was wetsanded, buffed and waxed recently by my friends body shop
shadowline trim around the windows, bumper strips and front grills were painted with bumper/trim paint by the same shop
e-brake cables adjusted properly
control arm bushings replaced less than 2 years ago
new window motors on both sides along with window switches
As for the bad things, there really aren't too many:
AC is cold but heat does not work, I'm in Florida so I didn't bother even looking into fixing it
odometer does not work, stopped about 2 years ago at just under 50k
paint is not great, looks good from 10 feet away but there are flaws
moon roof leaks but I have a sunroof with a good seal ready to go in
dash has cracks, but I haven't seen too many E30s that don't
I'm sure there's more to tell about the car but I can get into that if anyone is serious and has any other questions. asking $7000 obo as is.
