FS in CO: 1987 535is, very clean. (E28 content)

I am selling my 1987 535is (unless my 318is sells, then I am keeping this car.)

This car is one of the most excellent examples of an E28 535is that I have ever seen, and it pains me that I have to sell either this or my 318is, because of money constraints, as I am in school full time.

I bought this car from the person who has owned this car since 1989, and it has been well maintained, from my observations.

    Specs:
211k miles. Mostly highway miles, as the previous owner used this car for long road trips.
5-speed manual, rear wheel drive, ALL electric adjusting seats work, ALL windows work, heat works, on-board computer works, although I can't figure out how to set the time.
    Factory BMW premium sound
    Brand new battery
    Brand new Behr fan clutch
COMPLETE tool kit still intact with original BMW towel.
BRAND NEW Sachs clutch kit, with probably 5-10 miles on it. I installed the clutch myself (I do all of my own maintenance). Included a new clutch disc, new pressure plate, new throwout bearing, new clutch fork pivot, etc
16x8 BBS wheels that originally came on the E38 7-series with almost brand new Yokohama tires.

The ONLY things wrong with this car is I think the AC compressor doesn't work and the car needs new front brake rotors.

    I am asking $3000

If interested, call Sam at 443-907-7246.
