    E85 Turbo M30 HX40 dyno

    Finally had sometime to get on the rollers.
    Boost controller set at 22psi.
    Blue lines was my street tune red lines with some tuning time and 1 more psi.
    HP didn't increase with a bump in boost just the tq.

    This has to be the highest HP B34 M30 stock bottom end ever.
    I think 600whp is doable with an HX55. Is the power stupid and unnecessary in a an E30, you betcha, I do it for the lolz.

          Nice...Have a build thread? I have an M20 2.7i motor built with an HX35 on it waiting to go in over the winter. I'm shooting for numbers half of what yours are.

              That's awesome! You using the B34 head? Stock?

              Seeing numbers like that really give me something to look forward too and makes me want to get my swap done that much quicker
              89 325i: 86 535i motor+trans, JE forged pistons, MLS head gasket, ARP head studs, Comp turbo, GoodNTight b34 turbo manifold, e30.de motor mounts, AKG 75D engine/trans mounts, custom 3" exhaust, intercooler, MS2PNP, Megan Racing Coilovers.

                  Stock M90 B34 head from 1980 with a 280/284 schrick cam.
                  I ported the intake side of the head for the B35 intake.

                      Day-um!

                      I'm going for half those #'s and I'm running a M90 head on a B34 bottom end. Really makes me wanna rip the head back off and get a nice port/polish job. Really makes me think what I could achieve....

                                              Gonna throw this HX55 on first since the HX40 is maxed out, 600rwhp might be doable on this stock bottom end. I'll probably make a new manifold for the built engine and try Paul's turbo cam.
