I need you guys help installed the tach wire #21 from the c103 plug and plugged it directly to pin #9 on the c101 and nothing. did i wire it wrong? could someone help me diagnose this problem, its driving me mad crazy:crazy:
hey guys i'm having a problem with my tach as well. Fuse 21 keeps blowing off, I've been looking at the bentley but it really hasn't helped much.
mine is a m30b34 if that makes a difference. So I also would like to know what you did to get yours working.
p.s. mine worked fine since april and in the last three weeks i've been trying to unplug everything imaginable to see if i can find what's causing the short.
Glovebox light
Flashlight
Ignition Key/Seat Belt warning
Interior Lights
Radio Memory
Trunk Light
Active Check Control Service

OBC Fuel delivery
Tachom eter/Fuel Economy Gauge
Digital Clock Multi Function Clock
Check you cluster and make sure the batteries are not corroded.

seems to be a short that wiggles with the wires. Thought I had it fixed this time around and I was putting everything back and now the OBC backlight did not work and when I turned on the headlights the inside gauge lights would go off. I'm pretty sure this is my fault though, I think i connected something wrong. redoing everything tomorrow :(
now you wouldn't happen to know if there is a separate relay that also works with the speedometer/ac controls/obc backlight lights would you?
I plugged in my defrost button into the wrong plug and now my gauge cluster lights along with the obc backlight are out. and my bentley doesn't arrive until thursday, got any ideas?
