Well its time to get out of the game for a while again so I'm getting rid of my beloved E30. I've put lots of money and time into this car and it is nearly exactly as I wanted it.
I bought the car in January and swapped the motor for the M50 Vanos out of a 94 325is with about 110k on the clock. When I did the swap I also replaced the following
Lower control arms
M3 offset Control arm bushings
Tie rod ends
Sway bar mounts
Motor mounts
I also yanked the motor and tranny apart and found that the clutch was nearly brand new. The blower motor was pulled and the compartment was used to tuck the large M50 wiring harness.
I also at the time swapped in an E36 steering rack and deleted the power steering. The loop hose I used on the rack is leaking a little bit but its really not a big deal as there is no power assist anyhow. I will try to get around to fixing it this weekend.
A 3.73 LSD was also sourced and replaced the 4.10 open that was in the car.
As far as the interior goes, the car has one comfort seat and one Recaro Speed in great condition. The rear seat is in good condition as well. The carpet has some bleached looking stains but is not real bad. The dash has two cracks in it and there is no shift boot. The only other part of the interior that is missing is the driver kick panel that covers the upper pedal assembly. The car has a perfect working Sony Xplode Cd player.
The exterior is in good condition. I just had the car resprayed and it came out real well. I was not going for a show car so I did not fix all the little dents just the big problem areas. I also installed smoked bumper lights and painted the tails all red, and added the 55W 6000k Raptor HID kit.
The car is pretty low thanks to H&R Race springs and rolls on 16x8 XXR wheels. The front tires are great but the backs could use replacement.
The car is driveable but they are getting pretty worn.
OK the Problems:
The brake booster leaks vacuum (good one will come with the car)
ABS sensors need to be replaced to have ABS work properly
The front turn signals need new lenses
The passenger rear bumper moulding is broken
