WTB: Hood for e30 convertible.

I need a hood for a 1992 e30 convertible. I'd like to get it in Lagunagrun, but will consider other colors.

Are you sure about that? RealOEM.com shows two separate part numbers for e30 hoods.

Convertible part number = 41611955457

Sedan/Coupe part number = 41611936174

well I have a hood and trunklid, both from the same coupe, on my cabrio...

Yeah, I found out a friend has the hood from a coupe on his cab as well. I wonder why the part numbers are different. He did say the fenders on a cab are different from the fenders on the sedan/coupe.

Fenders are definitely different, but this is the first time I've heard anything about a hood being different.

That said, just because it's got a different part number doesn't mean there's any real difference- it could be (and likely is) something very minor that doesn't affect fit or function.


I know I've put hoods from coupe/sedans onto cabrios before and vice-versa without any problems.
