I am also very interested in a couple close up pictures of the attachment points on the hardtop! What part #'s are the bases? I have wanted to make one for my hardtop for some time, but the steel mounts that attach to the actual hardtop are so friging expensive. Then it seems that the only thing that will attach is the factory rack, which don't look nearly as good as yours.

Yea shipping sucks because of its size and and weight.

The mounting pads were custom fitted to the hardtop and the rest of it are regular yakima products that can be bought anywhere

Do the mounting pads just go between the feet of the rack and the roof?
