    E30 M3 Restoration in iceland

    Hello

    i got this M3 early 2010,

it was pretty bad when i got it, floor all wet and some rusts.

before i got the car it was stop for almost 10years

here are pics of the car summer 2010:

And then the restoration starts, here are the last pics of the car before i take it all apart for painting

    i bought a new bonnet

and i bought used rear bumper because any asshole did cut my bumper for very big exhaust

Now its time to take the car all apart!

    Now its started!

Dashboard, seats, doorcards and alot more is out

    And more is out

Now almost all is out, i will start fixing the floor on next days,

I took this moulding off, i need to buy new clamps to fit him on again when all is painted
    (partnumber: 51711937638)

this rubber was under the moulding, i cant find any partnumber for it on Realoem

and thats how he looks now

i cleaned all bumpers and mouldings from inside and outside

I put this inside on the sill because it was just welded alot there!

here can see the welding inside the sill after spraying

now all the body parts go to the Carpainter, the car shell will go there after 1 month when im finished with all rust, then all will be primed and then painted Imola Rot

i took the interrior home so it wont be damaged in the garage

    ---

    And now some more:

fixing the floor, loats of cutting and welding!

    Cutting and welding

    now welding at driverside floor

Mmmmmmm!....... more rust to cut and weld)

when the car has been painted i will cover all the weldings with loats of tectil and stuff like that

and the BEST is that i bought a S50B32 and 6spd gearbox for the car

    and more work

    fixing rust under the fusebox

and now its welded from both sides

there was old welding but it was cracked so we weld it again

there was also old welding that was cracked :| but its fixed now 8)

    antenna deleting!

and cutting more rust away from passangers floor

    -----
    Loats more!

it was very beutiful under the trim

    Starting to cut all

    Now making new part there

    little bit welded

    Welded and primed

    And this welded back on!

But it still needs the hole for the Trim

    Almost ready

    And now looks very good!

And now its finished, all is waxed from inside and nice 8)

Just welding the last thing at the floor

and now all welding i finished!! ( now just sanding and cleaning the floor for primer)

    Floor primed

now primer is dry and new seamsealer is over the weldings and more

    and the painted over

my sunroof was damaged from rust so i found anotherone for good price witch is 100% no rust!

and now the car is ready to go to the car painter!!!!

when car is at the car painter i will start to fix my recaros and work on the S50 stuff

    More updates later

Wow, thats looking really nice. I was in Iceland in the summer of 1999 with the USAF. We used to go to Reykjavik on the weekends to drink and have fun. I would love to bring my wife to Iceland some day. Great country!

Without looking at your info I knew where this build was coming from. Great to see this car getting such fitting treatment.

I would not have the nerve to cut into that car the way you have. Great job, man.
