My goal this year is to make it out to at least one driving school, auto-X and to put together a "driving clinic" with the help of some people around here. I think Scott has timing equipment and we'll source plenty of cones. Have to find a good place for this and talk to Greensboro PD to sanction it, so they're not a pain in the ass watching from the sidelines, pulling everyone on their way home. Idea is to combine it with Bricknic or Oktoberfest.

        The most important events:
Korman Open House: It's not what it used to be, but it's still a great local event for boys and girls. Great amount of e30 history, and they may do 25th anniversary of m3. I promote this event every year and encourage everyone to go at least once, because you never know if it's the last one. This is a must-see event if you've never gone, otherwise you're not missing much or anything new.

The Vintage: this is the Mecca of all classic BMW events. Numbers of e30 attendees is growing every year. If you do not attend anything else in 2011, this one gathering you MUST see with your own eyes. I can't even imagine missing this event. This year will be amazing. Now that I've had a little practice at setting up a tent, I promise more content and more fun at the ambassador tent, than last year. I am taking fun activities suggestion and award categories for our tent. (IE: cleanest silber 4-door 318i with cloth sport interior in forsyth county )

Southeast Summer Rally: if you like camping and tearing up exciting mountain roads, there's no better time of the year to hang out in the mountains surrounded by an amazing and mature group of e30 enthusiasts. e30's go very well with campfires and mountain roads.

Bricknic: A piece of our own e30 tradition. Building on our original meet in August 2008 at a mall parking lot, we've held a couple of annual meets at the Triad Park with increasing turn-out. This year we'll move to the Oak Hollow Marina and rent a big shelter all to ourselves. Optimistically, we'll combine this event with a driving clinic in Colfax (right up the road). Be there and tell all your e30 buddies to be there. If we use V@V as a guideline, this year we should see 50+ e30's in attendance. Don't miss it.

NC Oktoberfest: Just like Bricknic is one of our own and every year it only gets better. Grilling out bratwursts, sipping on German beers, we celebrate e30's Bavarian heritage.
