1993 production date 10/1992 BMW e30 325i black on black convertible 5 speed

Car looks fantastic and drives even better. Please take the time to read, this will answer most of the questions you may have. Located in San Diego, CA

Exterior All original body panels * and paint overall 8/7.5 out of 10. Black paint color shines up very nicely. Minor imperfections include some small clear coat separation, hard to notice. Few, very minor dings. The rear trunk lid was replaced with another black one to delete the 3rd brake light. (still have the original trunk lid). NEW Convertible manual top and plastic window with new front seal installed a few months ago. No rust-so cal car.

Interior- 8 out of 10. Front leather seats are in great shape look fine and the seat heaters work great. Rear seat was replaced with black vinyl units. Upgraded lighted rear view mirror map lights. Dual trunk lights

Mechanical-Engine runs strong. 9 out of 10. On 7/09 installed new timing belt and tensioner. Flushed and refilled with bmw antifreeze. Steering rack replaced with remanufactured one. It will need the oil pan gasket replaced at some point due to oil weeping. I have the part but have not had that done.

Drivetrain- 10 out of 10. Replaced rubber flex disc along with new clutch slave cylinder, new tranny mounts with fresh diff fluid, fresh tranny fluid within last year. The transmission shifts smooth, the shifter and clutch are nice, tight and crisp.

Suspension- 9 out of 10. New rear wheel bearings both sides. New brakes all 4 corners along with fresh brake and clutch fluid. Replaced all brake hoses with new oem rubber lines. Lowered on Bilstein/Eibach. Previous owner replaced front control arms/tie rods. Rides smooth as glass and is not harsh. OEM basketweaves , tires have plenty of tread left . Original spare seems to have never been used.

Electrical 10 out of 10. All electrical functions correctly. AC blows ice cold, heat is nice and toasty. All electric windows operate fully. Factory radio sounds great. Has keyless entry/alarm with auto locking (automatically locks doors after you get in and start car.

Extras. Have carfax, clear title, title in hand, binder of receipts, original springs and manuals. No shipping, show up in person or send someone to meet $4000 or better offer! please make one motivated to sell-sorry no trades.

Bump for a GENUINE guy! I've seen that car in person a couple of times and it truly is immaculate. The next owner will be VERY lucky. Good luck J!

                        thanks george

your e28 looks great. I'll have to pass on a trade for another car. don't hesitate to make an offer-it just may be yours.

As tough as this is, I need to sell the car to:
                        1. create space
                        2. get some $
                        3. let the car live out its purpose to be driven-I just don't get to use it as much as I'd like to.

                          getting some more pms

                          hoping to answer some questions...

The diff in there is a 3.73, I don't believe it is a lsd since there is no 's' on the tag.

Not sure if it is cabrio specific lowering springs...assuming it is not.

poor pic taken when new brake lines were installed with new brake pads.

I do have a serious buyer identified but no $ has been exchanged yet.
