    Ha Ha, Passed SMOG with Flying Colors! FuQ Cally

    Yep..
    Totaly freaking out the last few week cause my 325i was due for testing..
    told myself and my wife I needed to just bite the bullet and do it this weekend.. So this morning I got up went to the auto store got a air filter, oil and oil filter.
    Changed all that crap, pulled off my miller war chip and maf..ugh

    Put the car back to stock....... so lame
    It has no balls WTF...?

    Started it up, drove right to the smog shop and threw it on the machine..
    And fucking blew the smog test away..
    And learned something at the same time..

    (Dan) the guy who tested the car said that the state of Cally silently changed the soft ware and parameters... WTF?
    He said they changed the Max Co* for 25mph from 1.0 to .4 which is around the setting for a new car, this way push the failure rate up on older cars, thus taking more older cars off the road....

    so blew a .09 bitches.... FUCK YOU CALIFORNIA! :hitler:

          My Schintzer 3.7 liter M30 e30 blew a 0.0 Co with a fresh cat and me on the laptop in the passenger seat adjusting the tune. Standalone ecu's are nice... Dude doing the test couldnt believe the print out.

                      When I got mine done in december the guy said it was as good, if not better than new cars.
                      This made me smile. :)

                        Dont underestimate the value of a fresh cat my brothers, that M30 was leaving a mark before that.

                              Where i come from it is the curse of owning something newer than 1985. Fortunately that is only 1 out of 6 at the moment for me.
