CO: HPR Winter Track Day March 13th

    Hey all,

I'm trying to get some interest in a day at HPR March 6th. I've no idea what the weather will be like, but for the day to happen at least ten total drivers need to sign up ahead of time. Cost is $100 for the day, and you can drive as much as you want. Your car can't be leaking fluids, needs some tire thickness, and some brake pads, and you need a helmet.

I am going to be there running an experiment for senior lab in mech e, so I am trying to find 9 other drivers at least so that we can collect our data on track. If we don't get enough drivers, we can't collect data...thus me getting the word out for the day.

If anyone is interested, come on out! If the weather turns south, HPR will give you a 100% voucher for another track day.

    Cheers!

Can I borrow a large one? This greatly increases the chance of me going....in the Ti....with 740 treadwear all seasons!

Okay, I will do my best to get the brake fluid changed this weekend. It's 4 years old and black.

It's on my list, it just takes time that I don't have.

Bah, also, is tech done there or does it have to be done before hand?

there's no tech that needs done, just make sure your car doesn't leak fluids and you have adequate brake and tires

tech is for the HPDE schools, open track days don't have any requirement beyond "your car isn't a POS"

Well that seems unsafe. Oh well. Maybe I will bring the E30 then.

I don't think so, most of the folks who go to open track days have done HPDEs and schools before, so their cars likely would pass tech if there were one.
