I need to get an electric top working perfectly on a 92 vert before I can get it sold. I don't have too much time in the next few days to tinker with the top so I am checking to see if anyone around knows the system pretty well.

Damn if you got a few days.. its so not worth it.
to convert to a manual top mechanism you dont need to change the canvas itself..
You have to change the locking mechanisms on both sides. that is all ive done it before by going to the junk yard and finding a complete set. and just copying how I took it out for installation.
If your going to sell the cabrio.. just emphasize how much of a PITA your saving to the next owner.

We can try and fix it before you convert it to manual since the car will have a higher resale value. It's not that difficult to fix the top unless the wiring is screwed up. I need more info. What works and doesn't work? The top is connected to four fuses, which one is blowing and when does it blow?1992 325i Convertible
