Can I put gas directly to injectors?

My 88 e30 does not start. I think its fuel problem. I would like to put some fuel to injectors and see it car start. Should I put gas fuel feed hose that is connected to fuel rail?
    How should I approach this?

Use some ether (quick start) instead

You would have to supply the fuel rail with greater that 40psi fuel and at a rate at least equal to the flow through rate. As whodwo says, try a spritz of ether into the intake.

If the cause of the engien not starting is an intake leak, the ether may enrich the mixture enough to get the engine to start. But if there is no spark or the fuel system is inop the engine won't run after it fires.

A pressure check of the rail pressure while cranking the engine will tell if the fuel system is working. And you can pull a plug and check for spark. A noid light will tell if the injectors are firing.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
