FS: 1989 325i convertible - Nina, the first Gutenparts build

This convertible was the very first Gutenparts build and enthusiast owned the entire time.

I purchased the car back in 2009 with 78,000 miles on the odometer and thoroughly enjoyed the 22,000 miles I added over the last 7 years.

The car runs great, no issues, no hesitations. The recently upgraded suspension provides very crisp handling and sharp cornering while still cruising very comfortably.

The exterior of the car is same condition as when I purchased her back in 2009, so she has a couple of small dents and the paint is checked under the clearcoat, however, this does not detract from how she looks. If anything this is part of her character that makes her great and she turns heads and gets looks everytime I take her out. Come check her out in person and you will see what I mean.

The interior of the car is in mint condition with the rare grey Uberkaro cloth interior which is much better suited for top down driving.

Please don't bother me with lowball offers considering all the rare parts and everything else that is listed.

If you are a serious buyer and there are certain items which you do not want, like the steering wheel, wheels, hard top, etc that can be easily removed from the car we can work on the price.

The car was originally registered in the US so it can be exported back without any issues.

I drove this car when it was still Levent's, definitely a well setup low mileage vehicle, you can't find another like it anywhere!

          Good luck, what's next?

did you ever find the side skirts for it and did you ever fix that quarter?
I may have someone who is interested.
Post some current pics, you posted so many in different stages that it is somewhat confusing

The dent that was there when I purchased it is still there and I wasn't going to fix it until I installed the sideskirts and resprayed the car. I do have a set of Kamei, and a set of ACS, sideskirts in hand.

The car inside and out looks just like it does in those pictures as the only thing changed is the wheels. I still have the 3pc ARE 5 spoke if the buyer wanted them instead. When I have time I will go do a 360 walkaround and take a bunch of pics.

I never thought I would feel such a the sting of sadness in my stomach this morning... but Nina has been sold and her new owner will be coming to pick her up next weekend.

Turns out it is the same person who bought Vlad's red M3 last year so it is going to a good home.
