    FS: 91 318is

Selling this in hopes of buying a vert. She is my daily and runs like a champ. definitely not the fastest car on the block but has the great handling of m42 cars and loves to be revved. I love this car and am still hesitant on selling it. Hoping on $4,500 O.B.O. Am willing to negotiate as long as shes off to a good home.

    $4000 TAKES IT!

    We'll do the bad first.

    - The odometer works but only when it wants to. it currently reads 126356 but id say shes closer to 128k.
    - Cracks in the dash
    - No handle for glovebox, missing speaker cover
    - Tears in the seats
    - Some chips in paint, clear coat coming off in spots, and faded roof and mirrors. nothing a deoxidizer cant handle.
    - The infamous valve tick
    - The dickbag owner before me stripped the threads for the valve cover bolts so i had to heli-coil them. a few of them held up good others not so well. BUT there is NO oil leaking.
    - Leaking powersteering fluid from a host right below the oil carrier.
    - small chip in windshield from some cock's truck.
    - and front drivers blinker lens is broken from a small rock
    - WORKING A/C COMPRESSOR but the line is somewhat clogged somewhere.
    - ABS light is on

    And the good.

    - New starter
    - New waterpump
    - New alternator
    - New hoses (SOME, NOT ALL HOSES ARE NEW)
    - New timing chain (Under 1k miles on all timing components and lifters)
    - New tensioner
    - New chain guides
    - New crank sprocket
    - New deflection wheel
    - New lifters
    - New JOM coilovers (not even 200 miles on them. you'll want different rear springs though. sit high)
    - New raceskids skid plate
    - Cooper weather master s/t2 tires all around
    - Was aligned yesterday

    On to the pictures

Your "ticking" is likely a failed oil pressure relief valve. $25 part, doesn't allow enough oil psi at idle to fully engage the chain tensioner.

also look into Time-Cert thread inserts... 10x better than heli coil. Its actually a BMW tech approved method of re-threading stripped holes. I did it with my valve cover on my old 318is.
