FS in NJ: 1988 325is, strong driver

Hey everyone, I took this great runner in a little while ago and have given it some well deserved tender loving care, and now she's up for someone to take over and love and drive the piss out of! It's a great e30 that drives very strong, and with the Bavarian Auto chip it really pulls nicely through all RPM's! Here are some pics to start things off:

And here's a link to an album with more pics:

Store your photos and videos online with secure storage from Photobucket. Available on iOS, Android and desktop. Securely backup your memories and sign up today!

I've done a lot of work to the paint to get it shining and I've replaced the drivers door that was completely rusted out, with a nice one and now it has NO rust! Installed new plugs, and a pretty decent gray drivers sport seat to match the interior. The headunit is an Alpine IDA-X001 that is really awesome and plays and controls your ipod through the headunit itself! At the price below you will also get the very sweet small diameter Red MOMO steering wheel with Corse horn button that looks and feels great!

    3.73 LSD
    Bilstein sports
    Eibach pro kit spring
    bav auto ignition wires
    bav auto chip
    bav auto strut bar
    map light
brand new front zimmerman rotors with pagid pads
everything on the cluster works (minus stupid brake lining light)
    crack free dash
    recently refinished basketweaves
Thule roof rack with fairing and 2 bike rails included
    Nice ZHP weighted knob
    New BMW Roundels from BavAuto
    New Euro style tails
    Rear plate filler

Suspension feels good, brakes are good, tires are good. But it will need a shifter bushing rebuild and this car does have some rust. The biggest problem was the door which I've already replaced, other than that it's in various smaller areas. Both the A/C and the P/S belts have been removed but all components are present. It will also come with a 5th painted and matching weave. I've also replaced the fuel line feeding the rail that's prone to crack and leak.

This is a very fun daily driver for not a lot of money, and it can take some pretty spirited driving and will just keep asking for more! I've driven it about 2000 miles since I've had it and it always brings a smile to my face, and actually gets a lot of attention! And it has current NJ inspection through 2013!

Asking $3500 as you see it in the pics or $3000 without the roof rack, MOMO wheel, and Alpine headunit (you bring your own wheel) I'll consider trades for an e30 touring, even if it's just a shell!

Here's Brezzi's thread as it was when I took it in:

      Hey selturk...

mileage reads just over 212, all gauges work (pic in album link above)

TB/ WP/ tensioner were apparently done around 40k ago, probably time to do it this winter IMO.

I figured a car like this is ideal for a R3v'er who wants to save some money and wrench on it themselves while being able to DD it. But on the contrary if anyone needs it, I can perform all work that the car needs at my shop for additional fees. BTW, my shop, and the car are located in Lambertville NJ, near Princeton, not far from New Hope and Philly PA.

Yeah, the door along with the 4 hours I spent toiling over her with a bottle of rubbing compound:D

I should also add that she was very much loved by her previous owner!!

^ did the same thing with my old e30. Puddles are not your friend, especially with the stock airbox!

                  Beautiful car.

pretty sure I saw this car on route 202 in flemington a few weeks ago. I remember the red center caps and lowered ride height. I was sitting at a traffic light at case blvd in a black E36 M3, i saw the driver look over at me
