    headers and exhaust

So my long tube headers are rusty and I bought the car with only the headers and one header extention (with o2 bung). This extention accidentally got pull down breaking the part of the header that's inside the extention (bout 2.5 ins). Anyway, where can I get the other extention? And should I just weld the broken outlet back on?

This is the non broken side, where the rust is orange is approximately where it broke on the other side. Also, i did some research without finding a clear answer, is it problematic to run the o2 sensor on only half the cylinders?

those look like stahl headers, very nice. I think it would be worth having them repaired and ceramic coated (jet hot or whatever). Did it have an H-pipe at the rear, with the O2 bung in between?

there is no issue running the o2 off of one bank.

you can find a local exhaust supplier and buy some exhaust tubing from them.

don't get the autozone crap, it is thinner and well, crap tubing.

if you have access, run the rusted pieces though a band say to cut them off. you will wnd ip with a cleaner cut and fitting the replacement tubing will be easier.

i would just cut off the 2 1/2" tubing after the collector and sand blast the primaries and collector cone then paint it.
if you don't know what you are doing, don't go chopping up the primaries.

No h-pipe, just the o2 sensor in the single extension i was talking about

Ok thanks, my one extension is aluminum and i was looking for another aluminum one. (maybe its an alloy, but definitely not pure steel)
